Flipboard 1.9.28 update for Android Gets Support for Hover Actions

A new update of the Flipboard, the incredibly popular news application, is now available for download in the Play Store, namely version 1.9.28, with some appealing enhancements packed inside. One of them is support for hover, a new function that enables users to preview article headlines through hovering over a tile. It’s a cool feature, but it’s clearly a preemptive update for the Galaxy S4′s hover features. Of course, the Sasmung Galaxy S4 is likely to be a very popular phone, so it does make sense for Flipboard to support it above other less popular phones.

Additionally, the app now provides users with the possibility to easily create a Flipboard account using Facebook. These new features are accompanied in the new app flavor by a series of other improvements and bug fixes, all aimed at delivering a better overall experience to users.

Still we can’t wait for 2.0 to hit the Play Store. In the meantime, you can get the update for Flipboard app for free in the Google Play Store.
