Samsung’s upcoming flagship cell phone, the Galaxy S4, is apparently set to feature support for at least one 4G LTE network, namely on the 1800MHz spectrum in the UK. Earlier this morning, British carrier EE made the following announcement on Twitter: ”Ready for #TheNextGalaxy? It’s coming to superfast 4GEE.” The carrier, which is the U.K.’s first to offer a 4G LTE network, recently set up a pre-registration page for those wanting to be first to get their hands on the Galaxy S4.
Samsung will announce the Galaxy S4 at an Unpacked event in New York City’s Time Square in a few hours. Galaxy-S4.info will be on hand reporting live when Samsung unveils the Galaxy S4 Thursday night at 7:00 p.m. EDT, and we’ll bring you all the news as soon as we have it. The event can be watched live on YouTube.
As we have described before, the Galaxy S4 will supposedly feature a 4.99-inch 1080p display, a Exynos 5 Octa processor or a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, 2GB of RAM, a 13-megapixel camera and it will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
