Omega v1.0 custom ROM for the Samsung Galaxy S4

So far there aren’t too many ROMs available for the Galaxy S4. Currently just Omega and one other ROM. So we thought we’d spotlight Omega for the Galaxy S4 this week since the Galaxy S4 is going on sale this weekend at a few carriers, at least here in the US. It is still a Touchwiz ROM, no AOSP just yet.

Based on test firmware XXUAMDA Android 4.2.2 (Date: 09/04/2013)

efs Backup (option to create efs backup during installation)

init.d support without the need of a kernel that supports init.d

Aroma installer – Installation is fully customizable by user and there is options to install everything or remove all Bloatware – read here for more info

User can flash apps and bloat apps any time without the need to flash again the whole rom, (flashing the rom once is required)

Full Wipe option

Wipe cache partition automatic before roms installation
