Here is a fresh rumour from Korea – the Samsung Galaxy S4 might be the first handset in the series to launch with an S-Pen and the accompanying functionality as Samsung is allegedly looking to unite its Note series with the flagship Galaxy S4. This would be a huge change for Samsung and interestingly enough is allegedly confirmed by a quote from a Samsung official. The S-Pen it’s by far the best stylus-like accessory on the market for touch-screen devices because it uses an active digitizer so it’s a lot more accurate than a regular capacitive stylus, and it’s also pressure sensitive. These things matter a lot for people who actually intend to use them for drawing or for math-related work.
Along the way, we are hearing more confirmations that the S4 will indeed come with a 5-inch 1080p AMOLED display, something that almost seems like a fact right now judging by the competition. Considering the phone is rumoured to have a large 5″ screen with a 1080p resolution, the S-Pen rumor does seem very likely to become real.
